USC Swimming & Diving Promo Video Will Rock Your Face Off

College Swimming:

The southern half of the state of California is known for two cliches: the sun, water, surf lifestyle, and movies, Hollywood, being the epicenter of the motion picture world.

In the early 20th century, the two were almost indistinguishable. Swimming stars like Johnny Weissmueller and Esther Williams were also among the biggest movie stars of their eras (no doubt due to their physiques).

As time and technology have grown, swimming and film, though coexisting geographically, don’t have the same overlaps as they did 80 years ago. They now, however, come together in different ways, and among those is this incredible promotional video produced by the Van Wagner Big Screen Network, which is a major sports production company that works nationally. The video was filmed in the spring of 2012.

Be warned, the amount of awesomeness in this video may not be safe for work.

The other side is where Dave Salo is asking for donations to revive one of Lenny Krazelburg ‘s Foundation swimprogram . They need to raise $79,000 to help the only school with a pool in a district of 650,000 .

Mr Utensgsu’s donation must have run out before it got out the USC gates.

This has given me enormous amount of inspiration to top this video for my school….I’m just not at a top 10 film school. This video blew my mind! Great job to the cinematographer!

Talk about raising the bar! That should look pretty awesome on the video boards at the new Uytengsu Aquatic Center. Love the ending!
