SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Swim and Dive held their annual Alumni Meet on Saturday at Don Reddish Pool. Several All-Americans were featured, including Josiah Purss and Jack Burton.
The highlight of the day had to be Nick Soedel winning the 50 free by almost two seconds with a time of 20.62.
“This was another great event for the current and former student-athletes,” head coach Joe Dykstra said. “Everyone has fun at an event like this and it is a great feeling to see the interactions between our older alumni and current competitors. I want to thank everyone who turned out this morning and we appreciate their support.”
Utah treated the meet as a tune-up for its regular season opener next weekend against Arizona. That meet will get started on Fri., Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. MT.
