Vanderbilt Picks Up Verbals From Lauren Bergmann, Kaley Buchanan

The Vanderbilt University women will add 2 more member to their ranks next season, as Lauren Bergmann and Kaley Buchanan are the latest to give their verbal commitments to the Commodores.

Bergmann is a swimmer for Badger Aquatics Club in Wisconsin, and will make the move to Vandy after graduating from Madison Edgewood High School. Buchanan, on the other hand, swims for Hershey Aquatic Club, and will be graduating from Hershey High School in Pennsylvania.

Kaley Buchanan

Buchanan was a qualifier for last season’s Speedo Winter Junior Nationals (East), where she swam the 100 fly, 50 free, and 100 free. With times of 23.90 in the 50 free and 51.13 in the 100 free, Buchanan may find herself filling a spot on Vandy’s freestyle relays as a freshman.
