USC is still putting the finishing touches on the $16 million upgrade to the renamed Uytengsu Aquatics Center, but just before the Trojan men prepared for their final dual meet of the season on Saturday against Utah, the school had its official dedication ceremony for the new pool. (Full recap of the meet to come)
The upgrades were designed to improve the space’s usability for both competitive swimming, swim training, and for the general student body.
The most obvious new feature is a brand-new, fairly unique-to-swimming scoreboard, along with several displays honoring the legends of the USC aquatics program.
Close to 1,000 spectators were in attendance,

What is the date scheduled for the annual Swim With Mike event ?
Hi Wendy,
This year’s event is April 5th at USC. There’s a number of other events that have arisen, though. You can see them all here:

Being also a track and field fan, I remember watching the last Pac-12 held by USC and it was a beautiful track and a beautiful place as well.
Looks beautiful and love the shaded stands. The recognition for USC’s storied swim history is very fitting, as well.
