Vermont Swim & Dive Announces 2024-25 Schedule

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The 2024-25 schedule for the reigning America East champion Vermont swimming & diving team has been released. The Catamounts will host four home meets this season at Forbush Natatorium, all four home meets will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV.

NOTES

  • UVM’s campaign begins at home on Sept. 28 when it hosts Northeastern. The event begins at 11 a.m. at Forbush Natatorium. The season-opening meet will be a part of Alumni Day.
  • Alumni are invited to join the 2024 America East Coaching Staff of the Year and fellow Catamount alums at Four Quarters Brewing (70 Main St., Winooski) starting at 6 p.m. Appetizers will be served and attendees are asked to register at https://go.uvm.edu/swim24. Please contact our Victory Club Office at [email protected] with any questions.
  • The Catamounts will hit the road for four straight meets including the NJIT Invitational on Oct. 11 and 12. Vermont will compete against the Highlanders, as well as LIU, Howard, and UMass.
  • UVM hosts Merrimack on Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. The meet will begin a stretch of back-to-back home meets that includes a Nov. 2 competition against Maine.
  • The CSCAA Open Water Nationals are on Dec. 15 in Miami, Fla hosted in Biscayne Bay.
  • Vermont’s final home meet of the 2024-25 campaign and Senior Day is on Jan. 18 when it hosts URI.
  • The Catamounts will begin their title defense from Feb. 19-22 at the America East Championships at Virginia Military Institute. Vermont captured its first conference title a season ago.
