Versatile IMer Jaden Bellina Gives Verbal Commitment to Auburn Tigers

Jaden Bellina of Pearland, Texas has verbally committed to swim for Auburn University in the fall.

“I am a very family oriented person and the Auburn coaches and swimmers immediately made me feel at home on my official visit.  Their excitement and enthusiasm for their program was evident and awesome.  I can’t wait to be a part of the Auburn swim family next fall!  War Eagle!”

Bellina is a senior at Pearland High School. She is the reigning 200 IM champion from the 2016 Texas 6A State Meet (1:59.81), as well as the third-place finisher in the 100 fly (54.47). Competing for Pearland Aquatics, she competed in both the 200m IM and 400m IM at 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. Bellina had a strong meet at the 2016 NCSA Spring Championship, finaling in the 100 fly (34th), 200 fly (9th), 200 IM (10th), and 400 IM (9th), earning lifetime-bests in both SCY and LCM of the 200 fly and 400 IM, and in the 50y fly, 100m fly and 200m IM.
