VIDEO INTERVIEW: Emma Reaney’s Goal is NCAA Titles in the 200, Maybe 100

Defending NCAA Champion and American Record holder Emma Reaney talked with SwimSwam’s Max Mitchell after taking 2nd in the 200 breaststroke on Saturday evening at the 2015 ACC Championships, getting pipped at the finish by Virginia’s Laura Simon.

Reaney said that the finals swim felt much better than she did in prelims, and while she doesn’t have any specific time goals for NCAA’s (she indicated that she wasn’t sure how that meet would play out given the mid-year coaching change the Irish underwent), that she did hope to repeat as the NCAA Champion in the 200 breaststroke and maybe add one in the 100 as well.
