The German team consisting of Christian Reichert, Rob Muffels and Isabelle Franziska Harle won the mixed 5 km team event in Kazan by over 16 seconds.
Reichert, who finished 18th in the men’s 10 km event was the fastest of the three Germans finishing in a time of 55:10.9. Muffels, who took the silver in the men’s 5 km event, finished in a time 55:12.1 while Harle, who placed seventh in the women’s 10 km posted a time of 55:14.4.
