The Virginia Tech swimming and diving teams will welcome six teams to the Christiansburg Aquatic Center for the 2014 H2Okie Fall Invitational on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Tech, which wrapped up its fall dual meet season two weeks ago against Pittsburgh and Notre Dame, will welcome William & Mary, Ohio, Liberty, South Carolina, Villanova and Alabama to the CAC on Nov. 20-22. It is the H2Okies last swimming event of the fall season.
On the men’s side, the H2Okies have enjoyed a successful fall season, checking in at No. 17 in the national polls last week after going 5-1 in dual events. The women have a record of 6-2 this season.
Alabama comes into this weekend’s meet with a 15h-ranked men’s squad and a 24th-ranked women’s squad. The rest of the field is unranked, but is filled with quality competition. Liberty and Ohio with compete with their women’s teams only.
Prelims for all events will take place during the morning sessions this weekend, beginning at 10 a.m. all three mornings. The finals will then take place in the evening, starting at 6 p.m.
Live results will be available all weekend here. Live video will be available on HokieXtra for the finals on both Thursday and Friday.

Ohio U only has a women’s team, sadly.
It’s been seven years and a lot of us are still pissed at the AD and administration for that one.
