Watch as Adorable Little Boy Searches for His Goggles… On His Head

“I need my goggles! I need my goggles!”

Being the “elder stateswoman” of the SwimSwam gang, I can totally relate to the mad dash to find car keys or reading glasses, only to have them appear in my pocket or atop my head. The good news is this isn’t only an affliction of those of us advanced in age.

Take a look at the video below, that has made the social media rounds over the last couple of days. This little swimmer (it sounds like his name is Aidan) can’t find his goggles. He looks everywhere. When he’s asked to touch forehead, on which they are in fact resting, he moves the goggles out of the way and proceeds to pat the top of his head and his forehead, searching in vain for those darned goggles.

We’ve all been there, right?

Am I the only one that cringes at water floaties? I guess I understand their need and use, but the one time the child forgets he/she doesnt have them on and jumps in a pool…

I used floats when i taught swimming lessons, mainly the flotation belt. It helped the kids learn the mechanics real fast. I would loosen it as the lesson[s] went on eventually removing it.
