During the 2023-24 NCAA women’s swimming season, NCAA records were set in seven different events: four individual and two relay records, all by the University of Virginia. Gretchen Walsh broke NCAA records in four events (50 free, 100 fly, 100 back, 100 free), while Alex Walsh broke the NCAA record in the 200 fly. The two Walsh sisters were also a part of Virginia’s 200 free and 400 medley relays that broke NCAA records. Watch race videos of all the NCAA records in women’s swimming set this past season here, with all videos courtesy of UVA Swimming’s YouTube channel.
