On the morning of June 7th, U.S. Olympian Cullen Jones got an opportunity to bring some recognition to the sport with his segment on Good Morning America. Jones, a member of the SwimMAC Elite group under coach David Marsh, worked with Mark Verstegen of EXOS to demonstrate the new SpeedoFit in-water exercise concept live in front of the Good Morning America cameras.

The segment was also featured on the SwimMAC Elite app’s live stream. SwimMAC Elite launched its own app this year, which gives fans a look at behind-the-scenes footage from practices in Charlotte, meets on the road, and everything in between. The Elite group includes Jones, Ryan Lochte, Tyler Clary, and several other U.S. National Team members.
This summer at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Jones will be looking to qualify for his 3rd Olympic team after representing the U.S. in Beijing and London. So far, he’s earned 4 Olympic medals, including an individual silver in the 50 free from the 2012 Olympics, and a gold from competing in finals of the 4×100 free relay in Beijing.
