There’s no way Alex Walsh actually split a 25.01 50 breast on the 200 medley relay, right???

no—there was definitely a timing error. Looks like gretchen walsh was 23 low with one of the fastest 50 back splits of all time (again), and alex was a 26 high (still nuts)

Um nobody is talking about A. Walsh splitting 25.0 on the 50 breast?

Also notable how strong VT men are in the breaststroke. They had 2 guys hit 1:55 in a mid season dual meet.

Ramadan looks like this is his year to just blast through ACCs & NCAAs. He should be a >50 point individual scorer at NCAAs which puts the Hokies right in the mix for a top 10 NCAA team finish.

Carles Coll Marti is one of the most underrated swimmers in the NCAA at the moment imo

I think he got lost in all the Leon Marchand excitement last year. But he’s definitely a two event A-final lock, and it’ll be interesting to see if he goes with the 200 free or the 100 breast this year.
