Katie Ledecky continues to tear through her senior year of high school, breaking the national high school record in the 200 free at finals of the DC Metro Champs. You can see video footage of the race, which is the fourth-fastest 200 free in history, above.
Video comes to us courtesy of D Bell on YouTube.
You can read Troy Gennaro‘s full recap of the record-breaking swim here.

I also have footage of Yannick Agnel going an 8:42 1000 and a 4:10 500 in case anyone ever wondered what that looks like…

Did anyone else notice on her 5th turn she took a half stoke?
Yea, it seemed like she lost a little momentum going into the 6th turn (a little bit of a glide). But that is being SUPER nit-picky… That race was unreal. That stroke rate and those walls, oh my god. I have never seen a cleaner, more complete 2 free race.
Also DC metros is an awesome meet. It’s crowded, super loud, and the place shakes when Ledecky Conger Vissering throw down these monster swims.
What can’t she do? Beautiful to watch! Determination coupled with skill
