The University of Louisville women’s swimming and diving team wound up the 2016 NCAA Championships Saturday night at the McAuley Aquatic Center at Georgia Tech in eighth place, finishing in the top ten for the second year in a row. The Cardinals scored the most points in their history, with six individual and four relay top-8 performances, as well as one relay scoring in a B final, over the course of the four day meet.

- 200 free relay (Mallory Comerford, Kelsi Worrell, Andrea Kneppers, and Hannah Magnuson) 12th
- 500 free – Mallory Comerford 8th
- 50 free – Kelsi Worrell 4th
- 400 medley relay (Alina Kendzior, Andee Cottrell, Kelsi Worrell, and Mallory Comerford) 2nd
Day Three
- 100 fly – Kelsi Worrell 1st (American/US Open/NCAA/McAuley Pool records)
- 200 free – Mallory Comerford 2nd
- 100 breast – Andee Cottrell 6th
- 200 medley relay (Alina Kendzior, Andee Cottrell, Kelsi Worrell, and Mallory Comerford) 3rd
Day Four
- 200 fly – Kelsi Worrell 1st
- 400 free relay (Kelsi Worrell, Andrea Kneppers, Mallory Comerford, and Alex Sellers) 7th
