WATCH: McHugh’s 1:53 200 Breast and Race Videos from YMCA Nats Day 2

2018 YMCA SHORT COURSE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Night two of the 2018 YMCA National Championships featured a huge swim from Door County’s Maxwell McHugh, who lowered his own meet record with a 1:53.59 in the 200 breast. He now ranks 5th in history in the 17-18 age group. Also coming through with big swims was Brendan Burns of Upper Main Line, who won both the 200 back (1:42.17) and the 100 fly (46.61).
