Waukesha And Monona Grove Still Leading WISCA Polls 3 Weeks Into 2017

It’s three weeks into the new year and bot Waukesha South-Catholic Memorial and Monona Groves are still leading their respective divisions, being awarded the most points in the latest boy’s Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association poll.

Division 1 hasn’t shown much change since last week’s poll. Waukesha is still in the lead, however Madison West has moved from second to third. Madison memorial passed the other school from Madison in order to take the second overall ranking in D1.

Brookfield moved up two spots within the top 10 to grab the 5th overall ranking. Their move bumped both Franklin and Middleton down one position each. The only other change to come out of D1 was the fact that Neenah moved into the top 10 for a 10th place ranking. With Neenah in the top 10, Hudson’s out.

Currently the top 10 schools have all stayed within the top 10, although there has been some shuffling around of the order. The top three still remain the same. Monona Grova is comfortably ahead, but Ashwaubenon and Grafton sit fairly safely in the second and third overall positions.

The biggest move came from Nicolet. The school jumped two spots to crack the top five. They now sit fourth overall, bumping Madison Edgewood to fifth and Cedarburg to sixth. Plymouth and McFarland traded places. McFarland is now 10th, Plymouth is now ninth.
