Northern Michigan University recently won their latest dual swim meet, November 2nd, 2013.

“We had a great day and raced hard, coming out with two wins and season best times,” stated head coach Heidi Voigt.
In the 400 yard medley relay the team of juniors Emily Bourguignon, Madisen Sechena, Debbi Lawrence and sophomore Crystal Bennet placed first with a time of 3:57. 43.
Individually, three swimmers finished with double wins. JuniorTara Dowling placed first in the 1,000 freestyle (10:58.94) and the 500 freestyle for season best time of 5:20.60. Lawrence added a first place in the 50 freestyle (24.28) and the 200 individual medley (2:10.86). Sechena was first place in the 100 (1:07. 51) and 200 (2:26.61) breaststrokes.
In the 200 freestyle, Junior Emily Brennan placed first with a winning time of 1:59.96 and freshman Rachel Borchardtfinished in second (2:00.86). Bennet placed first for a season best time of 55.32 in the 100 freestyle and freshman Courtney Konopitski was third with a time of 56.21.
The Wildcats placed second in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.86, team of Bourguignon, Bennet, Konopitski and Lawrence.
Junior Jordan Iverson placed second in the 1,000 freestyle, finishing in 11:12.84. Borchardt added a second place finish in the 200 fly, and junior Dakota Sechena was third. Bochardt was third (101.37) in the 100 fly.
