5-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte was featured this week as a part of the United States Olympic Committee’s (USOC’s) Christmas campaign, where athletes from across sports discussed their favorite Christmas memories.
In the videos below, Lochte discusses his favorite Christmas present ever and his favorite Christmas tradition. The answer to the former is a toy called “My Little Buddy” that he got as a kid, rather than some more decadent gift that he can now afford thanks to prize money and endorsements. The answer to the latter was less surprising: his favorite Christmas tradition, like that of any true swimmer, is eating.
Had to look this up on google. Funniest thing is the kid in the My Little Buddy commercials kind of looks like Ryan when he was a kid, haha. Love his personality!
