White Tops Blue As UNC Asheville Wraps Up Annual Intrasquad Meet

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women’s Swimming and Diving wrapped up its annual intrasquad meet on Saturday (Sept. 23), with the White team defeating the Blue team 137-115.

White Team Highlights
Freshman Amelia Ward took first in the 1M diving event on Friday, while her roommate, Taylor Smith, secured top points in the 100 breast and 100 butterfly.

Blue Team Highlights
Junior transfer Caroline Crouse narrowly out touched her opponent in the 200 butterfly, while Beatrice Cocconcelli took home gold in the 200 IM.

From Head Coach Elizabeth Lykins – “Although the White Team prevailed today, it was a tough battle against their Blue Squad foes.”
