Madison Tew, a product of the Waukesha Express Swim Team and New Berlin West High School, will stay in-state after giving a verbal commitment to the Wisconsin Badgers.
Tew is a strong 100 and 200 freestyler, with best times of 51.39 and 1:50.94, respectively. She was also 10:40.44 in the 1000 at just 13 years old.

Tew’s 500 freestyle would have been fifth for the Badgers last season, but in the 100 and 200, Tew will have some time to drop, but with develop could make an impact for the Badgers down the road.
Some of Tew’s other times include:
58.11 in the 100 fly
2:08.54 in the 200 fly
1:00.12 in the 100 back
2:05.28 in the 200 back
Of note, according to WISCA.net, Tew has never finished lower than 3rd at the Wisconsin State Championship meet in an individual race, which demonstrates an impressive, continuing level of success.
