Skylar Fore, a senior at Cedarburg High School in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, has made a verbal commitment to the University of Notre Dame for 2017-18. Fore was runner-up in both the 50 free (23.12) and 100 free (49.92) at the 2015 WIAA Girls Division 1 State Meet last November. She led off Cedarburg’s 400 free relay in 50.01 and anchored the 200 free relay in 22.83. In addition to sprint free, Fore excels in fly and back. She was a top-8 finisher in both the 50 and 100 butterfly events at the 2016 NCSA Spring Championships, and finaled in the 100 back and 200 free at the Wisconsin 13-and-Older Long Course State Championships this summer.
