Taipei, Taiwan – August 21 – After starting the tournament with a close loss and a draw the USA Men’s National Team earned their first win at the World University Games defeating Romania 12-6. Olympian Alex Obert (Loomis, CA/Pacific) led the way with three goals on offense with Chris Whitelegge (Costa Mesa, CA/Coastline CC) recording 12 saves in net. Team USA returns to play on Wednesday when they meet Italy in the qualification round at 3:40am et/12:40am pt. Quarterfinal Qualification – USA 9 Italy 12 – Full Recap

Taipei, Taiwan – August 23 – The USA Men’s National Team dropped a 12-9 decision to Italy in the quarterfinal qualification round at the World University Games.
