World-Ranked Puts & Kromowidjojo Head-Up Initial Dutch Euro Squad

Now that both the Swim Cup – The Hague and the Eindhoven Swim Cup have completed in Netherlands, the initial squad selected for the European Championships has been announced by the Royal Dutch Swimming Federation (KNZB).

Throughout our coverage of both meets, which took place April 6th-8th (The Hague) and April 13th-15th (Eindhoven), we identified those swimmers having notched qualifying times in their respective races, giving us some insight into what the roster was shaping up to be for Glasgow. However, additional members may be added by the federation.

Per the KNZB selection criteria, the 2nd qualifying period now begins and runs through June 30th, whereby swimmers can specifically request a competition of their choice, pending approval, be used as their trial meet. However, during the 2nd period, the swimmers will be vying for only those spots not already taken up by athletes having achieved qualifying times already.
