27 years old Govorov, Brazilian coach Arilson Silva se training lete hai. Unhone Swimswam ko confirm karte huye kaha ki Gwangju mein is event ke start ke pahle Govorov ko shoulder injury hui thi aur wo surgery ke liye bhi gaye the SLAP syndrome ke liye.

The Mayo Clinic ke according, SLAP ka matlab superior labrum anterior and posterior lesions se hai. Isme shoulder kea lag alag hisse mein pain hota hai,overhead activities ke dauran bhi pain hota hai.

SLAP surgery mein ek minimally invasive arthroscopic procedure hai jo damaged area repair ke liye ek tiny camera aur miniature surgical instruments ka use karta hai.(ONSMD)

Is tarah, Govorov ne is month ki starting mein Hungary ke Gyor open mein compete karne ke baad pahle se hi surgery ke baad paani mei return aa gaye hai.Unhone apne recovery racing mein 50m free time 22.66 aur 50m fly time 23.84 liya.

Silva ne swimswam ko bataya ki Govorov ne apne shoulders ka test karne ke liye Gyor open mei participate kiya tha, ‘yah kahte huye ki sab kuch accha tha.’
