Wyoming won the night’s only relay, the 400 free relay, in one of the meet’s closest finishes. The Cowboys went 3:04.22 to Denver’s 3:04.31, getting the win on a 45.66 come-from behind anchor split from Bryce Carter. Joining him on the relay were Kyle White, Kyle Waller and Ryan O’Leary.

Carter, Waller and O’Leary each won individually as well. Waller took the 200 free early in the meet, going 1:42.60 with O’Leary second (1:43.40). O’Leary went on to win the 100 free in 46.68.

In the next distance down, Carter showed off his speed, going 20.92 to beat teammate Adam Kalms. Kalms would go on to win the 200 back in 1:51.43.

Denver got the night’s first win, with distance star Dylan Bunch going 16:01.15 in the 1650 free. That led a 1-2-3 sweep for the Pioneers.
