Dant was a tier above the rest in the mile, clocking a 14:50.97 to slice over six seconds off of his own national record from last year. He now ranks 24th in 17-18 history in this event.

Brendan Burns dropped a new personal best in the 200 free, leading off the Upper Main Line YMCA men’s 800 free relay in 1:36.01.
Leah Braswell Drops 10 seconds to Win 400 IM at Y Nats Night 3
Braswell’s best time coming into the meet was 4:19.21, which she swam at last year’s Y Nats. She dropped a 4:15.78 in prelims, which was already a decent drop, until she dropped almost another 7 seconds in finals.
Brendan Burns Becomes #2 All-Time in 15-16 100 Back with 46.24 at YNats
Burns jumps from the #4 to #2 performer of all-time.

Night two of the 2018 YMCA National Championships featured a huge swim from Door County’s Maxwell McHugh, who lowered his own meet record with a 1:53.59 in the 200 breast.

On the girls’ side, it was Leah Braswell of York and York County YMCA for the win in 9:45.33.
